Memang ngga ada yang mengecewakan!Tokoh-tokohnya familiar banget karena sering dibikin film, manga, bahkan game juga ada. Lebih banyak lagi karya-karya yang terinspirasi kisah ini. Penasaran juga sama karya aslinya dari China, apakah sebagus ini penceritaannya? I always enjoy reading epic historical story. And I find this Suikoden series is one of them. The story about outlaws who fight the corrupt emperor, the 108 stars who stay in Ren Zan Paku castle (Water Margin castle), is very fascinating and truly legend.The positive point when I read this story is I learn about how heroes walk their path, maintain their kind and humble attitude. And the legendaries power or wisdom is something I amaze about.On the other hand, the hard part when I read this book is to memorize the heroes. Surely we have 108 heroes as the title said and it’s hard to remember them all. In this first book I think only 11 of them appear and I don’t remember their name correctly. The easy way for me to remember it is by memorizing their nick name. And here they are:1. Ninth Dragon – Shi Shin2. Flower Monk – Ro Chi Shin3. Panther Head – Rin Chu4. Blue Face Demon – You Shi 5. Red Horse - Ryu Thou6. Headman - Chou Gai 7. Scholar Go - Go You8. Three Brothers - Gen Shou Ji9. Three Brothers - Gen Shou Go10. Three Brothers - Gen Shou Sichi11. Issei Monk - Kou Son ShouI am not quite sure if there is other minor characters that I miss, but it mean that the story hasn’t finished yet. The stars will appear soon, in the next book of Suikoden.
What do You think about Shin Suikoden 1 (2011)?
Simply not the best from Eiji Yoshikawa. Incomparable with Taiko and Musashi.
