tori was a scientist and she was ready to go on vacation,her last job was done and she was happy,she freelanced for ESC and now she was going to relax,then ESC-Advisor Dr Fontaine called her,he said that HIA is coming abord our ship,she ask what do they want with a bunch of scientist,i don`t really know it has something to do with intergalactic emergency they requested you to head the team,im on vacation,sorry they have a warrant so our team must go like it or not,and she knew she had to do it or she would be luck if ever got a job if she refused,Franklin told Dr tori this is the planet of Qurilixen he pointed at a map,and here is where we will land at var palace,every thing you will need is already assembled and all the scientist go with you but there is nearly a hundred on this ship,and just what is this assignment they found biological weaponry from ranor,they believe it is intact,its you`r job to test everyone who has come in contact with it,they will be down with you for 1 day,then you and 3 others that you pick will b with you for the remanding of the time, so they landed and she had to go and meet the king,and get the permasion they needed,to search the marshland and sir rounding areas,the place was beautiful the floor,rugs,bed spreads, walls,and the carving on the arches,so now she had to go talk to someone?, as she walked down the hall she stopped she couldn`t believe what she was looking at,prince quinn was telling the woman that the king was married and wouldn`t take any other woman so she cwould have to look else where and linzi giggled and said where here,and quinn was kissing her every where,linzi grabbed him and he moaned with desire,he would soon have her against the wall fulfilling his most desire,she said excuse me sir could you tell me,OH GOOD GOD IN HEAVEN,quinn pulled back and said just a minute sweet heart,don`t go any where,quinn turned back to see the voice she looked mortified at what was going on,quinn said can i help you,could you tellme where to find quinn,that me,tori said you,and you`r in the hall making out,and you`r point is,but she just couldn`t stop her self from checking him out,just couldn`t take her eyes off of him,he kept teasing her the dr tori said who must i see to get permission to search the tunnels and the marshs and she explained the threat to the planet,he told her she would have to see the king,with that she left,he watched her go and followed,he could smell that she wanted him,and her turning him away made him want her more, dr tori went to the banquet hall to see the king but all the princes were with him,she told him about the threat from the marsh land and the caves,he told her to write up a paper on it and give it to quinn for approval,then they had to stay at the palace til it was done the were each given a room,and they were beautiful, later quinn showed up at her room and sak if she wanted to play,she was really mad that him and told him no she didn`t sak him to come to her room or her bed,he said its not so mush the words but how you stared at my e......,and how you smelled of being excited, i don`t want to tell you all the juice things that are going on,but i will say quinn dosen`t give on what he wants and really wants her,and theres a lot of action with evil and rescues,but its a must read it just wonderful full of excitement.
Lords Story (Lords of the Var Book 2) (Kindle Edition)This was my absolute favorite book of I think both the Draig and Var stories in the Dragon Lords Series by Michelle Pillow. All the books are wonderful, entertaining, exciting and sexy hot romantic but this one had a special mix of everything.First of all I fell in love with Prince Quinn. He is not only a hunky gorgeous sexy cat shifter, and as the title says "Playful" he is also witty, very confident, a bit cocky, intelligent, sensitive, and loyal underneath his irresistible smile. When we first meet Quinn he is being approached by Tori, the scientist in charge of helping rid his planet of biological weapons. Tori needs to consult with the Var Ambassador, which happens to be a very preoccupied Prince. She finds Quinn in the hallway fooling around with Linzi, one of women belonging to the late kings harem. Quinn's funny teasing of an obviously embarrassed Tori is one of my favorite scenes, it's hilarious, filled with witty banter between the two and sets the tone for the their relationship. Quinn recognizing the obvious attraction between the two is determined to pursue Tori by any means he can (even showing up in her bed unexpectedly). The banter between Tori and Quinn is hysterical, as well as his interpretation of dating customs on earth.This story is not just all fun and romance, there is a serious threat not only of biological weapons but of the introduction of a deadly moss into the forest and swamp lands. Tori is a scientist who ends up on charge of safely removing the weapon and testing the inhabitants for contamination. While investigating she discovers the deadly moss and her mission turns more dangerous.Many of the heroines in this series are pretty amazing but Tori is special, she's a scientist and an adventurer facing all kinds of odds to rid planets of dangerous chemicals and intoxicants. What makes her even more unique is she fully embraces her sexuality and her attraction to The incorrigible Var Prince.Lots of great secondary characters including the rest of the Var family and Tori's crew of assistant scientists.five sexy Var brothers all together make these a great addition to the Dragon Lord series.Phenomenal fun exciting, smart witty read, hot sexy love scenes and sexual tension and awesome characters. The author's mesmerizing world building is further enhanced giving our imaginations a detailed setting to get happily lost in.Highly suggest reading the books in order for maximum reading pleasure. I have read this book several times and enjoy it more and more with each re read.
What do You think about The Playful Prince (2011)?
I recommend this book for the teddy bear scene. It's at the very end and you probably wouldn't understand it without reading the rest of the book. But that one scene made the whole book worth reading.The story itself is interesting, the threat is unique and the villain was appropriate. You get lots of back story and explanations of the Var, even though you probably wouldn't read this book without reading the previous book - so you'd already know this stuff.Unfortunately, the development of the relationship relied heavily on tropes that I have little patience for. Others might not mind them, though.I like this author - her books are always appropriately steamy - but at this point, they're all starting to sound alike.

OMG, Prince Quinn is so playfully bad, but so sexy!Prince Quinn is the Ambassador for The Var, so his late father drilled into him that a lifemate was a weakness to a man more than to his brothers since he would have to deal with more people than any of them. Why then can't he control the strong pull to this female scientist, he doesn't even feel a stir when he is touched by another female.Dr. Tori Elliot is used to working with facts, that's what a scientist does, so then why does she feel such a strong pull and attraction to this barbarian. It's not logical!I absolutely cried from laughing so much at the Teddy Bear and then the brother's reaction to the real Teddy Bear ingenious!!!!The passion is sizzling!I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.
