my review is not going to suffice...loved this one, messy violent plot, but the relationship aspect is absolutely intriguing, gripping, there was also humor and mystery and love and pretty much everything you could want in a crime fiction book. i loved that there was less criminal analysis and monolgues like those and more focus on kit and J.X i hope there will be a 4th book, though i don't know how much more crime and battery can Kit withstand from here, if this was real life it would have been bone wearying. This is my favourite book of the series so far. A very enjoyable mystery is the background to Kit and JX moving in together.The story is told from Kit's perspective so JX's actions and behaviour is seen through Kit. So I didn't feel I knew JX as well as Kit by the end of the book, but seeing him through Kit's eyes makes it easy to see why Kit uprooted his life for him. The book is hilarious, emotional and clever. A great read - loved it.
