I'm glad she isn't a nagging control freak. I guess she wouldn't be here if she was. There are trucks still here, but the driveway is clear. I pull right in and shut it off. “Ready baby girl?” She nods. “As I'll ever be.” I get the kids unbuckled and Brandon waits to take Stella's hand. I lift them both up and carry them out then up the front stairs. They're as excited as Sheila.
