Sara turned her head away from the TV. “Like what?” “Sex stuff, darling.” Jared pointed the remote toward her. “Remember what we’re doing here?” She stuck her tongue out at him. They’d spent a great day, laughing and having fun together as only two old friends could. Well, okay, maybe old friends didn’t spend half that time in bed, rolling around and making each other come just for the sake of it. They’d ordered pizzas as they usually did when Jared spent an evening with her. But this time, they were sitting on her sofa barely dressed. She thought of his question and felt herself start to blush. “Ha ha! Sar-aaaa,” he drawled out her name. “I can see you thinking of something.” “Nope.” She ignored him and focused once more on the action movie he’d picked. “Yes, you are.” His voice was suddenly a lot closer than before.
