Warrior Prince (2014) - Plot & Excerpts

She had to command the commander, conquer the conqueror. Maybe Pia didn’t need to be conquered, but commanded. He was just the commander to do it. WOW!! I hate to admit this but I had just finished reading the first three books in this series and wasn't sure I wanted to read this one right away. I loved those books and didn’t want to lose the magic spell that it had caught me in!! I AM SO GLAD I DID NOT WAIT!!! This is my favorite story of the four! I absolutely adored Pia, although it did get a little frustrating when she kept on about her looks. Once I read more and learnt more about her & her background, well let's just say that I did an about-face on my initial assessment! *snicker* I actually just wanted to give the poor girl a HUGE hug! And then there is Zoran...leader & commander of the army does not make for a sympathetic husband who is in touch with his “feminine side”. Of course having a hunka hunka man like Zoran around...I don't see how ANYONE could resist him! I sure wouldn't! This is their story and a helluva great one at that! I will stop before I spill any secrets because I refuse to give any spoilers!! Suffice it to say that this makes for a great adventure of a story! I love how Michelle can take multiple books that not only share the same storyline and timeline, but also many people and scenes and yet every single one is fresh, unique and AWESOME!!! She does it so masterfully that I didn’t even realize that they were the same scenes until a specific action happened! It is cool to see these from a different point of view each time because it gives you another piece of the same picture that I personally think of as cube shaped, with each side being one of the brides & their husband! So when you stand at one of the sides and look in, you see part of the scene, move to another side, you see a little more of that scene, then the next side and the next. I still read with a sense of awe & wonderment at how Michelle can manage so many different ways to show & handle each situation, problem and scenario! I think that it works so well, reads so fluently with NO errors or conflicting parts because Michelle wrote them all at the same time. But then again it could all come down to the fact that Michelle is just this phenomenally talented! (I said this in the review for Dark Prince, but it applies perfectly for Warrior Prince as well!) I actually read The Dragon’s Queen (Dragon Lords 9) book before any of the others in this series (& I loved it!) so I was excited to see Queen Mede appear in these first four books, but the way she is with Pia was so very sweet! (and funny!) Michelle has this tremendous gift that enables her to write so many books that are all VERY entertaining while never being predictable or boring or dry, never feeling like she is writing for the sake of writing, recycling plot lines, scenes, scenarios and the like. In my opinion this is all a perfect indication of just how brilliant Michelle truly is. And that is exactly why Michelle M. Pillow is a NYT & USA Today Bestselling Author who has also won numerous awards for her work! Does anyone have the number to Galaxy Brides? I need to book my trip! *naughty sly smile*

Warrior PrinceBy Michelle M Pillow⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I was given a copy to read and review. Michelle Pillow is one of my favorite aurthors to read. I adore her storyline they are fascinating, imaginative and lovable. Her characters are truly fantastic, sexy, individual yet keeps the series going. I couldn't stop reading until I finished. Sleep and food don't matter, just give me a comfortable seat and place. Then I open Michelle's book and I'm in a world I enjoy! This is my favorite couple I was sure of how Pia is so humble about her appearance to the point she vehemently denies being attractive (although that did get a little old after 200 pages of people telling her she was attractive but I do understand her perspective). She is very self assured in her combat skills but she feels useless to Zoran because he doesn't seem to value her skills or opinion. Also, Zoran is so ready to lay the world at Pia's feet but she is so unsure of herself and Zoran that she doesn't trust her feelings for him and constantly pushes him away. This book has some really great sexual tension and verbal sparring between the main characters. I really enjoyed seeing how Pia and Zoran circled each other before finally opening up their feelings. The fourth installment in the Dragon Lords series centers around Pia Korbin and Zoran of Draig. Pia is an assassin with burns covering most of her body. Forced on the run for killing in self defense, she goes to the Galaxy Brides Corporation for free surgery in exchange for being a bride. After intensive surgery that removes her scars she participates in the Breeding Festival on planet Qurilixen where women are few and warrior men abound. She is chosen as a bride by Zoran of Draig, the second son of the King and Captain of the guard.Another Prince I fell in love with and I can't wait to read the next Book from Michelle! I recommend this book I really really enjoyed

What do You think about Warrior Prince (2014)?

Warrior Prince is the fourth book in The Dragon Lords series by Michelle M. Pillow. It tells us the story of Prince Zoran and Pia.Prince Zoran is the captain of the Draig guards and one of the 4 princes looking for a bride thru Galaxy Brides. Pia, a trained assassin physically scarred from a childhood act of betrayal, is running from a possible execution. In exchange for being given a new face she joins the Galaxy Brides.I enjoyed this book. The characters are fresh and exciting even though the books all take place at the same time and place the stories are each unique. The books are very well written and a must read for all paranormal readers.I highly recommend this series. It's a really good read.Dragon Lords Series (in reading order)......1. Barbarian Prince2. Another Prince bites the dust! Prince Zoran, Commander of the Guard may be a hard a**, but he is about to meet his match.Pia is a very scarred girl, full of hatred for herself, now she finds herself with this husband who keeps telling her she is beautiful , but she knows better. No man that handsome and sexy could want her, but she will not let him pity her.So the battle for dominance begins, who will give in to the will of the other?Prince Zoran may be the big bad Draig, but he has the softest heart and his feelings are much more sensitive than his brothers. I absolutely loved him!I was gifted this book for an honest review.

It's always hard to decide which of the books in this series is the best; especially when each installment seems to be better than the previous. in this book you finally get to see what Zoran is like behind the gruff and stoic demeanor he shows to the rest of the world. Pia, too, is far from one dimensional. I think her story is the saddest of the heroines in the series. The interaction between her and Zoran keeps both characters, along with a few others, on their toes. The storyline is different enough from the previous books to keep you involved instead of skimming the parts that cross-over. I think the story is best read at a leisurely pace too, you won't want to risk missing anything. I believe that this book is the best of the series to serve as a standalone and you definitely can't go wrong purchasing it.*a copy of this book was received in exchange for an honest review*
