Time Quake (2009) - Plot & Excerpts

The book Time Quake is an okay book.It was a really good book in the beginning but when it got to the middle of the book it all went down hill from there. It just didn't make since. It was on one topic and then it went to another when it didn't even tell you what the new topic is,which is annoying if you know what I mean.It talks about the Tar man which they don't even reveal who he is until the end which is a little aggravating.Parsons is kind of a weird person because the author dosen't descibe him a well as he should. And who want's to read a book when you dont even know who your characters are.Lord Luxon is a little spoid and I think that you need to show him how hard life can be for a change.Gidion needs to be more out there in stead of being a little bit shy.Peter needs to be a little bit shy because he is to out there and he needs to at least back down and share the stage with Gidion for a new change. When it does tell you who the tar man is I think that they need to describe him more because I had to read that section again because the first time I read it the description was kind of bad. Mrs. Kate needs to be a little nice because she is a little mean and dull , so you need to fix that please. A good part of it was the beginning of it is when you describe the setting and that time period which is important so good job. The book is a little bit off of the topic because the topic of the second and third one are totally different. The book needs more characters and action because kids my age like action so put more characters and more action please. The book needs a better ending if you ask me it needs more of a twisty turn. I hope you guys like by book report. If I could give this series 4.5 stars I would.Unlike most series this one got better with each successive book. I am glad that I decided to read them all. The books became less predictable as the series continued and while I was hoping for an ultimate happy ending there was no way to make it anything except bittersweet. Still, it was a satisfying conclusion and putting the book down seemed like a real shame. This series is definitely going on the shelf in my classroom and I am going to keep a look out for any other books that Buckley-Archer writes!
