Read this as a read aloud for my second graders. They liked it because it had great pictures and was a story with a little bit of suspense. I read it with different voices for each character but the text itself really lends to great voice. A perfect beginning chapter book for kids because some difficult words have a creative font to help students figure them out as well as the pictures that aid with comprehension. A fun new story from Geronimo Stilton. This story features Creepela Von Cacklefur (a creepy friend of Geronimo Stiltons). Creepela asks Geronimo to publish a story she wrote. Geronimo and his staff love the story and plan on publishing it. Then they they allow the reader to read Creepela's story.It's very cute and not scary at all so this story can probably be read to almost any child. My Daughter loved the story and we will most likely get the next book in the series.
