Another one of those whirlwind romances. It started off funny though with Shanelle trying to sneak in to the ballroom from the servants entrance because she wanted to fade into the background. Then it took off from there with "a virgin wanting to have sex with a man she doesn't know" till her wanting to be his wife and only one. What??? Too quick for me but if you are into that type of stuff then by all means read this one. For some reason I enjoyed this one. LoL! I sound like sucks negative nancy. Some of Elizabeth Lennox's short stories bother me but she had some wonderful books and her writing style keeps me engaged regardless of my like of the actual story. Regardless I enjoyed this book. Shanelle being afraid to lose everything she worked for with school was wonderful. Her inexperience was actually portrayed nicely. Overall a quick nice read.
I feel like the book should be made into a full novel... Too short.
