Big white flakes were falling fast. The backyard was covered in a blanket of white. “Yes it is.” Emma hobbled into my room carrying a mug of coffee. They get feet of snow at a time out there. When the roads get too bad, people just get around on their snowmobiles.” “So, what are we going to do today?” She tilted her head and smiled. “We can do whatever we want,” she said, “as long as we do it here.
