This is a sweet story about Kaylie Flynn who after a traumatic start in life found happiness with wonderful foster parents. Ten years after leaving Hope Springs she is back to open a cafe in her old foster home and to look for answers about her parents. There is a lot of work to be done on the house so she hires carpenter Tennessee Keller and they are both instantly attracted to each other. As Kaylie makes new friends and prepares for the opening of her cafe, she faces up to her past and begins to look to the future. Both Kaylie and Tennessee are likeable characters and you want to see them happy together. The other characters add interest to the story and I will be looking out for future books in the Hope Springs series. Another enjoyable read! After a run of duds, I'm so happy to have found yet another great book (and author). I loved the characters, loved both the romance plot line and the secondary ones. This book had me literally sobbing a few times, which, as I mentioned in my previous review, is not exactly something I look for in my escape reading. But they were good tears. Another author to happily seek out...
