I was just looking for a light read to start the year off but found a combination of backstage groupie porn, social commentary on political status of women and girls growing up in Iran, and a unraveling of emotional boundaries stemming from childhood abuse. I had mixed feelings about Roxana, however have read more articles about her and am starting to admire her audacity and fearlessness more and more (albeit with very mixed feelings about how her she uses her sexuality- or rather how other's use her sexuality)- but still not going to keep a vibrator in my purse lol!! Not for the faint of heart. This was a very interesting read...couldn't put it down actually! I haven't read anything this interesting since reading Pamela Des Barres books! This is actually better than Pamela's book because Roxana gets with current bandmembers and she's a lot more graphic! But, this chick is a total slut! Hence the title I guess haha! I can totally understand her attractiveness to rock dudes but does she have to fuck the whole band?? Her explanation for this is because she wanted to be nice...she would feel bad leaving anyone out..ummmm...OK...wtf?? I was also wondering how she got money to travel with these bands. She mentions belly dancing a couple of times but nothing else...Overall though I enjoyed reading about her sexual escapades with the long-haired,tattooed hotties!
I only read it because I recieved it as a gift and so I felt obligated.
