This is my first review for any book. But i jst couldn't stop myself this time to not to write something about this one. I have just finished this book and..... i m feeling very emotional,sad.This book made me smile and cry. This series is my favorite book series ever. A beautifully written,addictive story but painfully sad in the end.I am madly in love with the characters of this book, every character of this book is someone you can relate to.This is my first book i have read of "Cassandra Clare" so i cant compare her book with previous ones,but i think she has done outstanding job...WILL and JEM are both differently handsome, shadowhunters, their personalities couldn't be more distant, but they are parabatai, inseparable warriors, loyal and caring, bonded to each other. TESSA, girl with a unique power of shapechanger fell in love with both WILL and JEM.Intresting love story with lot of twist and turns, lot of emotion and pain.CHARLOTTE the head of the instituion,and a vry loving,brave lady. HENRY inventor husband of charlotte; Jessamine striving not to be a shadowhunter; maid servant Sophie wise and strong,from her past and training as a shadowhunter though only a mundane. This is by far my favorite Cassandra Clare series despite the popularity of The Mortal Instruments. I loved everything about it -- from Tessa growing into herself to the romance to the fierce love that their whole family feels for each other.YA fiction can be very much a guilty pleasure, but I do think that Clare does a really great job of creating very believeable worlds and very flawed/ real characters.
