Well, my 2015 reading challenge isn't starting off that great. All I can say about the Governor is that I didn't like it. The characters weren't ones I could relate to nor did I find them all that interesting. The writing itself was the biggest turn off. It read the way people sound when they're trying TOO hard to be deep and poetic. They use a lot of long sentences with a bunch of words that don't really mean anything together. I couldn't stop rolling my eyes as I read The Governor. It just wasn't for me and I didn't enjoy it at all. I love this series. This is a series about a Governor who falls for a hooker and it is was a pleasant surprise. I was instantly pulled into the world of Anthony and Talia and I can't wait for part two. They come out every two weeks and I'm so excited about seeing what happens with this couple. If you like series, then you sure don't want to miss 'The Governor.'*I was given a free copy for a fair and honest review*
