Montana and Simon are a good couple. I wasn't sure at first that he'd come around (but of course he would) and let loose some. He took himself way too seriously. It's amazing how the town factors in to all the blooming relationships, in Fool's Gold. All the little by-line friends, and relationships are entertaining too. Right now we'd be wondering about Nevada, he's next. But also about Denise and Max. Loved it! How you could not love a book that opened up with a scene with such an adorable dog? I've read a lot of the more recent books so I had already met Montana and Simon so it was nice to go back and read their story at last. Simon is so different from in the more recent books that it was amazing to see how uptight he used to be. Talk about love changing a man. His story broke my heart and at times I was near tears watching him with his burn patient. I loved watching the love blossom between Montana and Simon and seeing how each characters grows. This is another wonderful addition to the series.
