In case you haven't paid attention to my reviews... I love this author! Her characters are always so witty, sassy, fun and um, sexy?! Duh. Ok, so Sharp Change. Yes, I asked what the hell happened to the book before this, there isn't one. But, the way Sophia starts the book, you feel like there should have been. I feel gipped out of Julia's story! Anyways. Chase, drool worthy - and possessive, true Alpha. Sophia, smart, very smart, and kick ass. I love her attitude. With lines like this: "The man had so much sex appeal her girl parts were ready to lift a white flag in surrender just by looking at him." You know you're in for a sexy story! This book doesn't let you down."Oh good Lord, help me not attack this man and tear those shorts off that sexy ass." I say, please do! The plot is interesting and you're in for some surprise where Sophia is concerned!! Enjoy Sophia's sister was bitten and turned into a wolf shifter by a rouge wolf. She has found her mate and seems happy. But Sophia wants her to have a choice. So she has been secretly working on a cure. Sophia used two different samples during her research. Feline shifter DNA and Wolf Shifter DNA. She has an accident in her lab and sticks herself with both needles. The next day strange things start happening. Then she runs into Chase at her sisters house. She becomes tongue tied when he is around so she always just walks away. But now Chase seems very interested in her and she just can't understand.Chase has had a thing for Sophia since he has met her. His wolf recognizes her as his mate but he has not claimed her because she does not seem to like him. Every time she see's him she leaves the room. When she comes over her sisters for a barbeque he is extremely drawn to her. And he can see some differences and he smells both animals in her and the fact that she is in heat. He can't stop himself now. He will have her. But he also needs to keep her safe. What she has been working on it will put her in danger.Loved it! I love Chase and Sophia. They are probably one of my favorite couples out the books of Milly's that I have read so far. Sophia is a major brain and I love that Chase loves that about her. Great read, but too short. Look forward to the next in this "Black Meadow Pack" seried.
