REVIEW: 5 "Twisted" StarsWhat happens when you put the two Duchesses of Darkness together for a Serial? You have an instant hit. I love the Serial series. Its twisted. Its dark. Its everything I want it to be! Even after being shocked speechless, I find myself pacing the floors for the next installment. Some would say the shock and awe would push them away, I say bring it on!! This is a serial read so Serial Volume 1 must be read before this. Serial Volume 2 picks up shortly after where Volume 1 left off. Jude seems that he may be getting sloppy with his mistakes as he obsesses over the two woman he is keeping hidden. He can't kill Ronnie, he just can't. But that is driving the monster inside of him crazy. Jude crosses paths with a girl named Patty who is in a terrible situation. Will she solve his need to kill? Will she be his next victim?Then there's Agent Blake. He is following his gut when it come to Billy's murder, Ronnie's disappearance and the Cascades Killer. I truly believe he will be the one to take Jude down. Well, that is if Jude doesn't get to him first. I have so many unanswered questions after finishing Serial: Volume 2 and I am dancing around in anticipation like a lil girl who has to pee. I love Jaden Wikes and Lily White and once again, they DID NOT disappointReviewed by Becky N This is the second installment in the Serial series by Jaden Wilkes and Lily White. These two authors stared this series by telling the story of Jude Hollister and his twisted mind. This volume continues with more Jude and Ronnie. However, they hooked me in by giving me more of FBI agent Donovan Blake. Can you say yummy? He has a dark side that not many are aware of. Well, except for Agent Emma Chase who is quite intimate with that sexy, delicious, and dangerous side of Donovan.We are also introduced to Patty who is a young mother and prostitute. Will she throw Jude off his game or will she help him get what he wants?I really enjoyed this book and loved learning more about the other characters. I can’t wait to see what these ladies have in store for all of them…and me!! *I received Serial as an ARC for an honest review.
