Seducir A Un ángel (2011) - Plot & Excerpts

I really did enjoy this book!It was quite different from the previous books in the series and a little difficult to read at the beginning.I had my problems with the heroine because I did not particularly like the way she tried to solve her money problem. I totally agreed with Alice that there had to be another way that that Cassandra prostitute herself for some wealthy man. But I did feel pity for her because of the damnable situation she was in. And with every chapter I liked her more. Stephen was also difficult for me to like. First do I simply prefer dark haired men to blondes! :DSecond should no gentleman use a woman who in her desperate need for some money even gives her body to him. It was wrong of him to sleep with her from the beginning but he did know that and made up for it. I did not really judge him for sleeping with her at all because he was young and tempted by her.The only thing that really did disturb me was that Stephen was younger than Cassandra. All in all did I enjoy the book though, because Mary Baloghs stories and writing is always refreshing, amusing, intriguing and simply a good read! :) This was the fourth book in the Huxtable series and definitely my favorite thus far. The scandal and rumors of murder surrounding the heroine was an interesting facet to the story, after the rather ordinary, though enjoyable, pace of the previous three stories. It was nice to follow a character from their teens through their early adulthood and into the maturity, as this series did with Stephen.

What do You think about Seducir A Un ángel (2011)?

Okay. Maybe I have read too much Mary Balogh, but she is getting too formulaic... a shame.
