Another very good story in the Red Rock Pass series by Moira Rogers ! “Sanctuary Lost” is a very interesting read about werewolves. With a lot of romance and adventure, it will be a nice and safe choice for all the fans of paranormal romance. I have to say that this book is more dark than the previous, because it has more tough choices and many uncomfortable scenes for the main characters.The story is about Brynn and Joe. Brynn’s sister is Abby the main character from the previous story in this series. She was the victim of a corrupt Alpha and now she’s trying to get her life back. But it’s hard and she knows that if she wants to live a life without hiding all the time she has to become a werewolf herself. Joe is a Guide who helps new werewolves to adjust in their new life. But he never gets involved with them because he has bad experience from his past. But Joe, wants Brynn from the beginning and when Brynn becomes once again a victim of a werewolf, he knows that he has to help her in this journey. But the truth is that they have to help each other.Brynn is a nice young woman who becomes a submissive werewolf. She has to adjust in this life and accept her new nature. Of course, it’s not an easy thing to do but she’s smart and capable and although she is a submissive, she’s not without power. I really liked her and it was nice to see a submissive werewolf for once! It was great the way the author described her first emotions as a werewolf.I really like Joe also! He is strong and protective and the typical dominant werewolf. He isn’t the Alpha of the pack but he is definitely an Alpha in his relationship and it’s hard at first for Brynn. I liked him because he is not a liar. He doesn’t say things unless he is certain about his feelings. A very good story, definitely an improvement from the previous, with great characters and lot of adventure. I recommend it to all the fans of paranormal romance! Red Rock is under attack by Alan Matthews, an evil alpha from the small town of Helana. He is pissed that he lost his alpha female Abby and he is going after her loved ones to get her back. Brynn is not an alpha but she is still strong and when Matthews tries to use her to get to Abby she will not give in. This is book 2 in the Red Rock Pass series and like the first book I enjoyed the story and history of the wolves. I also loved the characters in this book. I liked that Brynn wasn't an alpha but that she still managed to hold her own with both Alan and Joe. It was interesting to see the alphas through the eyes of a non-alpha and I liked that Joe didn't use his power with Brynn unless he had to to help her. These books are captivating and a quick and easy read. If you like shifters with a bit of a difference and HOT men, this series is for you.
