Rockin' The Heart (2000) - Plot & Excerpts

*I was give an ecopy of this book in exchange for an honest review*I have to start off by saying that I love Ms. Miller's writing. She has such wonderful characters, ones that are easy to imagine could be real. Her rock stars, introduced in Rockin' the Heart, are HOT! The story was well put-together, with an easy to follow plot. It pleased me to no end that rather than meeting and falling in love in a day, Sam and Fang had known each other for most of their lives. Jase is the typical, over-protective big brother, adhering to the double standard of behavior as most of the men I know haha. And KEYS! Someone, please. Get me Keys. I have such a huge book crush on him!I thoroughly enjoyed this story, and encourage anyone who likes stories with rock stars and naughty scenes to check it out.Bob says: 5 Platypires! I had heard great things about Author Gracen Miller for quite a while. There was no option but to jump at the chance to read an ARC of her most recent upcoming release in the HotWired series Lost in the Beat. It also gave me the opportunity to be gifted a copy of her first book Rockin' the Heart. Meet the HotWired boys. Everything you'd expect rockers to embody; good looks, wild times, and devoted fans - especially Samantha Collins. She's the drummer's younger sister. Raised by her brother Jase, and his band mates, since the untimely death of their parents in an auto accident. In a bid to get away from the craze of the wild fame of the band she's pulled a few wild stunts that have gotten her some fame of her own, the infamous kind. She'd prefer to go back to small town life but loves her brother and has feelings for the lead singer, Heath "Fang" Fangor. One more wild escapade lands her in more trouble and Heath opts to take the lead to guide her to better behavior. From there the tale weaves...It's better than you'd ever imagined it to be. Better than any review or comment that can be left for it. Loved it. Simply loved it! I'm starting Lost in the Beat now and since it has its roots in the first book cannot wait to dive into it.
