Pocket-Sized Prince (2012) - Plot & Excerpts

This book easily makes it into my favorites list. It even made me consider a new list, the 'ugly crying' list. Wow did this book make me bawl like a baby! Chapter's 6, 7 & 8 about broke me! OMG! This book needs a major warning for those 3 chapters cause I was reading them during my lunch break at work and I thought I was gonna die trying to fight off the sobs I was choking back so that my co-workers didn't all come rushing to my office!Dangit Stormy! You did too good of a job of making me fall in love with Iben! Oh Iben.. He has to be so strong as the Alpha but inside he was so lonely and heartbroken and just needed someone to take care of him, HIM, not the Alpha. Zack is pretty freaking fantastic as well and I can totally understand why he reacted the way he did even if it did break my heart. My favorite part will undoubtedly be when Zack smacks Iben across his nose towards the end of the book. I about choked on my drink I laughed so hard!I'm going to one-click the next book now cause I cannot wait to read Djal's story. ...do animals in nature get mates given to them by fate...?It's interesting that the wolf is so wholly a separate being. That's not really typical in M/M. But then...there are moments when it's typical M/M fare, and then times when it goes back to this. The mate thing especially. There were a couple moments they talked of mates as if they were the "fated mates" thing. The whole thing with his wolfy choosing the person or whatever sounds oddly like "fate" to me. Unless the alpha's ruled by his own set of fucked up rules, separate from those of mere mortals. To me, it sounds like there's an element of fate to it all, even if the involved parties are technically given the choice to go through with it or not. There are a bunch of inconsistencies in this thing, but I'll admit I'm fascinated with the dynamic between Iben and Zack.

What do You think about Pocket-Sized Prince (2012)?

Interesting to see a different kind of alpha. A few strange, illogical scenes.
