Murphy's Madness (2011) - Plot & Excerpts

Dear Lynn! Dear authors! Please, please don't ever use Google Translate or other automatic translating services/software when you write lines for foreign characters that are supposed to speak foreign language! And don't rely on unknown internet dictionaries! It really is common nowadays that books are read by people who actually speak that certain langauge or it's their mother tongue.I really liked the character with Russian heritage, until I actually got to the first Russian word. In reality it doesn't exist.Ok, I admit couple of wrong words is no big deal. But I actually got a laughing fit or howling laughter fit on a certain line that was said in the heat of passion.Sorry, I can't not say it. Instead of being sexy and romantic one of the main characters actually curses and insults another in a really graphic and inventive way X) And it also doesn't make sense as a sentence. Only parts of it do XDStill it is a good read, with a lot of emotions and interaction between characters. And a lot of action as well! Great installment of the series! Online translators are evil-evil things, and author is so-so wrong to believe them.

What do You think about Murphy's Madness (2011)?

I was kind of disappointed in this one. I felt that the author got off track with the mate thing. A mate is supposed to believe you, stand by your side, and love you no matter what and she made Ludo love Murphy, but Ludo wouldn't believe him. He should have been the one person who did. I also understand that Drew, Oliver, and Cecil escaping the house to prove there was a stalker was a bad idea; however, if Cecil would quit messing around all of the time and putting the lives of the mates in jeopardy the others might have listened to him had he taken the time to explain. Again, real disappointed in this one.

typical lynn hagen serial romance. nothing fantastic, nothing so bad it can't be finished. what is typical lynn hagen? imagine a shorter harlequin romance but with no t&a (see, i was going to write no surprise pregnancies, but... yeah.). out of sheer laziness, i will be using this as my template for all books by :lynn hagenstormy glennscarlett hyacinthcarol lynnegabrielle evansunless otherwise noted. i'd apologize, but i'm not sorry. i figure it's about as much time as they put into their books. dammit! well, i made it all the way to the end being rather moderate in my assessment. that's a win.

I'm so glad that he was not mad as a hatter.
