I won this on a goodreads giveaway.You've really got to take these books for what they are: short tales of escapism and romance with a cheesey but happy ending and nothing too heavy for the brain. Unplanned, but I seem to have won 3/4 of this 4 book series of 4 friends in the wedding season, getting paired up. I didn't win the first book, so I can't comment on that, but out of the three I did win, I think I liked this one the best. I don't know, maybe because the lead female, Gina, was British, and had a bit of gumption about her. In this one she's tempted by her friend Marnie's brother, Carter, whom she had a one night stand with ten years ago. But it turns out it's not a fling but love. The ending/final get together was a bit of a cheesey rush, but otherwise it was perfectly fine escapism =). Really would have given this 2.5, but the stars don't do halves.
