estrelas: 1.5/51° livro da trilogia Legacy. A ideia de base é boa, tinha grandes expectativas, mas a verdade é que me aborreci um pouco. É muito básica, e por vezes parece infantil. Na ultima parte fiquei um pouco incrédula com a atitude de personagens, mas sobretudo pelo exagero da autora, não era preciso todo o mundo saber ao segundo o que acontecia, exemplo eles espirravam, e mal terminavam tinham mensagens a dizer que era do conhecimento geral... A escrita é simples e a leitura é rápida. Os protagonista tem alguma química e até achei piada ao casal, mas parecia tudo falso. Abigail é professora. Desde a morte dos pais que cuida da irmã, o que fez com que ela preferisse a cima de qualquer coisa a seguridade. Dominic é um homem de negócios bem sucedido. Pertencem a mundos diferentes, mas conhecem-se devido à morte do pai dele, com quem ele teve uma péssima relação, e ao facto da irmã dela estar doente, o que a leva a fazer o trabalho desta: mulher de limpezas dele. Existe uma atracção entre os dois, que ele decidi levar mais além. Abigail vê-se cair de “paraquedas” no mundo dele. Relação conturbada, mas que vai permitir sobretudo a ela de conhecer o verdadeiro Dominic, e a ele de certa forma a perdoar o passado para seguir em frente. O vilão que é fraquito: um inimigo dele disposto a tudo para o arruinar. Se vou continuar a ler, não, nem sequer tenho curiosidade em relação à continuação. Abby agrees to go with him, but she soon discovers that not everything is as it seems and as she and Dominic start a sexual relationship she must decide who she an and can't trust in a country she doesn't know.Abby must stand up to help Dominic, but he doesn't see her good, only the bad. Everything Abby thought was right is thrown in her face when Dominic turns on her. She discovers he is not the man she thought he was, and is it to late to fix anything?This is my 1st Ruth Cardello novel, and probably not my last. this was a fast moving story but was just a bit unrealistic at times so i give it ☆☆☆1/2.
