Mad About The Earl (2012) - Plot & Excerpts

This was my first historical romance, which is a bit surprising to me -- although I have always been a medieval history fan, I don't tend to read much in the historical fiction realm. However, so many of my romance-reading friends are huge historical fans that I thought I'd give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. The only major issue I had with it was that Griffin is supposed to be somewhat beastly, but there's nothing other than saying so that indicates that's the case. After awhile, that got to be annoying. Other than that, though, I liked it enough that I'll go back for more. A wonderful story about looking deeper and not accepting what is seen on the surface. Griffin and Rosamund havebeen betrothed for quite a while. He is a great bear of a man and she is considered an angel. The time bas come for Griffin to finally marry Rosamund in order to properly launch his sister into society. Their journey is a battle of wills and good intentions all with the purpose of a happy marriage. Rosamund is quite the siren and determined to have her way. In the end everything works out splendidly and the couple is blissfully happy.
