I knew that I'd paid for sex with Sam last night but the feeling I had from not being judged or rejected did wonders to my ego, I was in a good mood and hoping that nothing would burst my bubble. That was until I walked into the bar from the kitchen, to see mum and dad sitting at a table as if expecting me. I groaned as I made my way towards them, I knew why they were here and what they wanted but there was no way I was going home. "Good morning son." Dad stood with open arms to pull me in for a hug. I placed my mug onto the table before I allowed him to envelope his arms around me and squeeze tightly. My parting words the other night had been rude but family was family and dad obviously didn't hold a grudge. "Dad," I greeted him patting him on the back briefly before I let go. "Mum," I gave her a quick nod as I stood tall adjusting my polo shirt. I noticed my mum's eyes water slightly at my cold greeting but I needed to distance myself otherwise I knew I'd open my mouth and everything would come gushing out.
