He's The One (2013) - Plot & Excerpts

As posted on The Smutty Kitty reviewed by KittyKelly5 out of 5 Licks for Fish Out Of Water by Cat JohnsonCat writes some seriously sexy stuff. This story does include characters from the Oklahoma Nights series, but you won't be missing much if you haven't read One Night With A Cowboy-although you really need to read it!! In a bit of a twist for our Cat books we have a cowgirl not a cowboy. Mark is a bit of a nerdy professor, but he is quite strong-willed once he makes up his mind to do something. Carla wants Mark, but is worried she isn't his type. She may not have loads of university education under her belt but none of that matters to Mark. Carla and Mark had a little private party in the water and trust me they had the lake boiling! This is a quick story and the time spent between Mark and Carla may have been short, but Cat did a great job pulling me in and making me feel the flame between them. Just like everything else I've read from Cat Johnson Fish Out Of Water is full of steamy sex and characters that will always leave you wanting more. I can't wait for the next book in this series-I have my review copy now!-I know Cat will knock my pants off again. Seriously, you should worry more about losing your pants than your socks when you read her books! ;) Anthology contains three previously released short stories: "Batteries Not Included" by Linda Lael Miller, "Captivated" by Jill Shalvis, and "Seducing Tabby" by Lucy Monroe. But it is the two new short stories that make it worth buying again and reading again."No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service" by Kate Angell is a novella in her "Barefoot William" mini-series, which falls between "No Tan Lines" (Bk 1) and "No Strings Attached (Bk 2). "Fish Out of Water" by Cat Johnson is a novella in her "Oklahoma Nights" mini-series. This story falls between "One Night with a Cowboy" (Bk 1) and "Two Times as Hot" (Bk 2). You'll definitely want to read this short story in between as it prominently features the lead heroes from both of those books: Tucker Jenkins and Logan Hunt, respectively.

What do You think about He's The One (2013)?

Loved the short romantic stories, nice way to get a glimpse of different author styles.
