After four books and six years together, I thank my cohorts at Random House with ever-deepening warmth and appreciation: Wendy Loggia, Beverly Horowitz, Chip Gibson, Judith Haut, Kathy Dunn, Marci Senders, Daisy Kline, Joan DeMayo, and many others who have invested themselves wholeheartedly in this project. I thank Leslie Morgenstein and my friend and agent, Jennifer Rudolph Walsh. What a lovely time we’ve all had.
I thank my parents, Jane Easton Brashares and William Brashares, and my brothers, Beau, Justin, and Ben Brashares. You can’t pick your family, they say, but I would pick them.
