My name is Claire Milles and I, read this book. Actually I read the whole series and loved them all. Tom, is my favorite character and always will be. I really was surprised by how tought Benny has gotten. Chong is my next favorite character. Chong and Lilah together are like....YASSSS. I really love them together. I am very happy Mrs. Tonelli recommended this series. I finished all four books. I began reading in August and finished all the books in November. I love the plot line that is in here. I honestly think that Tom should have lived, but i'm not the author. I also loved all the bad guys, they were very evil. I like that tom doesn't reanimate into a zombie, he just dies (sadly). I recommend this book to anyone who loves horror, zombies, love, romance, and action. This books has a lot of feels in it, I cried a lot. Jonathan Maberry is a excellent writer. EPIC! :) [Going to leave the same review on all 4 of these books; since they all go together!]I picked up Fire & Ash off the shelf at the Library in May and thought; this looks really interesting. It said "The world is too small for the living and the dead" on the front! I started reading it and got to page 7 or so! & realized it was book 4! The wait of getting Rot & Ruin from the Library SUCKED! I read the book; Hadn't read a book with so many pages before honestly! & LOVED IT! :) I actually waited between books so the 4 books wouldn't end! I really loved the quotes that started each part of the books! & I just was amazed by how much Maberry thought up! It just kept getting better! I must say I was shattered once in book 1. But I was impressed MULTIPLE times in book 4: especially with what happened at the ending! It was all kinds of epic on top of epic & I loved it! LOVE LOVE LOVE I'd give 6 stars if I could! I don't want to give away spoilers so I am making my review much shorter than I could have made it!
