El Escándalo De La Sufragista (2014) - Plot & Excerpts

I probably need to acknowledge at this point that if Courtney Milan is writing it them I'm going to be reading it. It's a romance, sure, with all the lovey-doviness and faux-conflict you'll find in any romance. (Seriously, folks, it's called communication. It solves many problems.) But this particular romance is written over a time where English women were battling for the right to vote and concerns one of those women--and her women's newspaper. Free is exactly what I'd hope for as a suffragette and publisher, and Edward is so obviously smitten that he's a delight to read. (Provided by publisher) I received an ARC of this book through NetGalley:Loved, loved, LOVED this book. I was really worried that it would be a little bit too heavy for me. (I read a LOT about feminist issues online, and reading romance is one way I decompress, and I was worried about the bleedover.) Luckily for me, while dealing with the reality of the issues of women speaking publicly about issues, and highlighting some of the more upsetting issues, it didn't make me angry (like reading comments on articles tend to do.) I LOVED what the hero ended up doing at the end and will definitely be recommending this to people.

What do You think about El Escándalo De La Sufragista (2014)?

My least favorite of the series, though there were several parts that made me laugh aloud.
