I heard Jake yell as he walked inside. “Coming!” I yelled back while staring at Chase, looking down at me. His eyes darkened and I could see his fists tightening at his sides. “I’ll see you tomorrow?” “Maybe later tonight, I could be stopping by the club.” “Okay.” I jogged down the staircase and saw Jake leaning against the banister. “Mmm, damn baby.” His large hand tugged me to his body.
