Brie's First Day Of Submissive Training (2012) - Plot & Excerpts
I picked up this short little novella because of a discussion about the book being very two sided. The book was short, so it's hard to get a great idea on my thoughts, but I was very back and forth. Some parts were well written and interesting. Other parts seemed kind of ridiculous and made me a bit annoyed. However, I can't complain since the book was free, and I knew going in that I may find some things objectionable. If this is a genre you generally enjoy, I say it's worth it to try the 45 pages and see what you think. Eeeeeh, I guess it's just not my thing?I mean, the whole set up felt a bit iffy, although I could appreciate the insistence on BDSM being all done in a safe, consensual environment, and people finding their limits.But Brie seemed a little, well, dim.For example, she worries about them getting her email address when she writes inquiring about it. Weeeeeell, sweetheart, why not just set a NEW one? You know, hotmail, gmail, yahoo, etc make them for free.She wasn't a bad sort, just... I couldn't relate to her, I guess.The writing itself felt a little stilted, with too short sentences and too clipped at times. I suppose the fact that this was pretty much sex scenes and more sex scenes with no plot made me not care.

Wish they would combine the shorts into a full length book. Sucks you in & then it ends :D
