He couldn’t ever remember wearing something so spiffy, or something so expensive. He was pretty sure that the new suit he now wore cost more than he made in a month as a courier. But, Alexander wanted him dressed nicely for his new position as a personal assistant, and so that was what Dusty would do. He didn’t think there was anything Alexander ordered him to do that he wouldn’t willingly, even eagerly, do. The man was a marvel. And, even if it had just been a couple of days, Dusty was pretty sure that he was falling in love. He felt practically giddy. “Hurry up, Dusty,” Alexander said from the other room. “Symon is here, and if we don’t leave, we’re going to be late for work.” Dusty still couldn’t believe that Alexander was actually keeping him. He thought for sure the man would kick him out the morning after their first night together. Heck, he hadn’t even unpacked in anticipation of having to leave. But Alexander hadn’t threatened to sue him, or run as fast and as far as he could.
