This was a good read but lots of telling instead of showing. Lots of characters "thinking" or "feeling" which IMHO are code words for telling instead of showing. I prefer to have characters show they care instead of the constant verbage and sex (though both those should be in the mix too.) Still, this was a quick and entertaining read, even if the mystery plot turned out not to be much of a mystery. I enjoyed this book. It’s well written and interesting even if the plot was a bit predictable. I liked Jake and his determination to win Sawyer but it did seem a bit stalkerish at times. Sawyer did have some diva moments but he was so miserable inside I could forgive his dramatics. The chemistry between Jake and Sawyer was very hot and I enjoyed the development of their relationship once Sawyer started coming to terms with himself.
So in love with this book. I died for it(in a good way). Loved it so hard and I will keep loving it.
