Bad Hare Day (2004) - Plot & Excerpts

My love of reading started when i was young, and it gives me immense pleasure to provide books to Spread the Word Nevada, an organization that passes them on to children in the community. They are a terrific organization supporting an important cause. If your local I encourage you to check them out. For those living further a field, look in your own community, their may already be a similar program in place. And if not, you can always help start one.http://spreadthewordnevada.org/Myself, I go out on the weekends andshop thrift store and bulk book lots to rescue books and donate them. Sometimes I'll find a book I remember reading when I was young and will read it again before passing it on.I don't rate these books using my normal scale, instead I give most of them three stars. This isn't a Criticism of the book, simply my way of rating them as good for children.

Source: I own this book. Cost: Unknown Title: Bad Hare Day Series: Goosebumps #41 Author: RL Stine Overall Rating: 1.8 StarsThis was not a quintessential Goosebumps book for me. I don't even remember reading this one as a kid, that's how much it stood it. (NOT)There was no horror or gore, no monsters, nothing that would give me Goosebumps in this book. This one had...Magicians. And theft.I mean I know it's a kids book written in the 1990s and I really shouldn't be expecting it to creep me out, but #10 and #33 in the series still give me shivers when I think about them. I kind of want that feeling with everyone y'know?

What do You think about Bad Hare Day (2004)?

Magic sure was something Tim loved a lot until one day he steals some magic from Amazo's show. The magic was so real and uncontrollable which made him want to become part of the show. His wish came true when he met Amazo, who was a rabbit. In exchange for being in the show, Tim had changed into a rabbit himself. It was all he always wanted but I think he went too far.I would never have given up my own body just to be part of a show. I think Tim was too desperate to be in a show that he would give anything up. He was too blind to see what he lost more to gain for himself.

Another 5 star rating. I'm so generous aren't I? I'm not into magic tricks, so I skipped some parts of the book. Here we have a kid who's obsessed with magic. Steals a bag of tricks out of resentment and everything goes bad. That was pretty cool. Seeing how the tricks went wrong. Aww poor Ginny, that's Tims sister, the little feisty sister. Poor girl, you'll see what happens to her. Anywho, the book is not at all scary, maybe a little suspenseful, but not really. Fun is a good word....no, no it's not, umm. Interesting, yup that's the word. I enjoyed the book, but it' not one of RL's best. The ending, as usual left us with more questions than answers. The book is worth giving a shot. As I have said, with my ADD...if I can finish a book in less than 2 hours, it must be.ok.

Ha ha! Get it? It's a pun! Hair, hare? Because it's a rabbit and not the hair on your head... Nope? Nothing? Well fuck you too then! I didn't write it.
