Autumn In The Vineyard (2013) - Plot & Excerpts

This third book in the St. Helena Vineyard series started out a bit slow but seriously sucked me in by the end. Frankie was a bit frustrating sometimes will all of her walls and stubbornness. Nate caused equal frustration at first but then eventually I just felt frustrated for him rather than by him. Still, they had me hooked. I still like the second book best and I am really looking forward to Abby's book, which is supposed to come out soon (6/2014). I hope Marina Adair also decides to write books for Frankie' s brothers. I definitely recommend the series. What can I say...it's been a while since I've given a book a five star rating without thinking about it twice. I had never read abything from this author before, but let me tell you I liked the way she worked her way thru the story. I absolutely-freaking-complete fell in love with the male character, and even do he was presented as this alfa-stud-gorgeous-looking man, I actually felt that he was more than just good looks and a "golden boy". He had a heart inside that beautiful body of his and a functioning brain to go with it. He went all sex god when needed too but still kept his paternal soft side as well. As for the lead female character, I liked her, sometimes I wanted to shake her and scream at her to make up her freaking mind, but I got the emotional aspects of her as well. She had been damaged a long time ago and so she didn't trust people. The book in set in the Napa Valley aka wine country. I been there, and even do I don't drink alcohol since I am severely allergic to it, still made me want to move and buy a freaking vineyard. Jesus! and I don't even like gardening. There are alot of other characters that are interesting two, and I just found out that actually this is book 3 of a series and I didn't know that when I began reading. You don't need to read the other books to feel and become in love with this one, but now I definetely checking out the rest of the series.....
