Jeremy and Jaime may be my favorite couple in Armstrong's universe. I think because they are older, sensible, and non-traditional in their relationship. This short novella has quite the cute twist to it. It was a fun read, and don't expect the same kind of serious drama as Armstrong's other works. When I finished and really saw the overall picture from beginning to end, I was quite tickled. Hopefully you will be, too. :) Another great novella by Armstrong. she rarely disappoints even in her shorter work. This was a solid piece and well told -- I am a Jamie fan, and I liked all the references to most of the otherworld characters. I am an especial fan of Paige so it was nice to have a mention of her. One laugh out loud moment -- "And I would have gotten away with it too ... if it weren't for you pesky kids" nice shout out there. My only complaint was the reason for the set-up: it could have used more fleshing out. I did like the part with Eve, although I am not a big fan of her character, she was nice comic relief. That is one of the things I love about Armstrong's writing (aside from the Canadiana) -- the humor and levity without getting too wacky. She has a deft hand. A great little story
