Join the Harmony Friends Meeting once again to see more shenanigans by Dale and Fern. Sam is in desperate need of a break from the day-to-day drama of some members of the Meeting. When a leave is granted after a medical emergency involving Sam's father, the new pastor steps in with amazing ease. Krista Riley seems to fit right in with most of the members, but a few are determined to undermine her with potentially disastrous results. If you go to church anywhere, you will recognize some of these characters in people you know personally. Thought provoking and filled with humor, I always enjoy my literary visits to Harmony.

Pastor Sam takes a leave of absence in this installment in the Home to Harmony series. He is replaced by a woman pastor, and she is both loved and rejected by the various members of his parish. But it appears the ones who have embraced her may want to keep her on as pastor. Could Sam be out of a job? If you are a regular reader of the Harmony series, you will enjoy this audio version, and if it is new to you, you are in for a real treat. The characters are memorable and well written. In fact, you probably know people just like them, especially if you live in a small town and are a member of a church.

September 2nd: I am barely 1/2 way through this audio book. I can't get enough of it! It is laugh-out-loud funny. Mostly poking good, clean fun at church life. So far, I thoroughly enjoy everything I'v ever read by Philip Gulley. I highly recommend this to anyone who has been in a church, participated in church life, or especially to pastors. So far, this is the most humorous that I've read by him. September 7th: I finished this 2 days ago. As usual for Philip Gulley, it was fantastic!!! I laughed, I related, and I recommend him to one and all.
