All-New X-Men Volume 3: Out Of Their Depth (2014) - Plot & Excerpts

It was okay.Decent at best but still a bit very flawed.Has a good moral conundrum regarding the word mutant but doesn't really go anywhere with it.It's got some good mutant action but it serves little purpose. I feel some of the characters (Jean in particular)feelings and actions are a bit misplaced and inconsistent through out the book. The last bit "Jean Grey and the Beast" was complete garbage that completely negates any elements of the actual actual story line. (Really Scott and Bobby are just walking around optic blasting cars and freezing them and no one seems to care at all) This volume remains incredibly tight, and just as focused on character interactions and bringing more and more in-universe continuity into this. There is great attention to detail (down to Iceman knowing what was going on with Tony Stark and Iron Man when they were plucked), and such great characterization. The conflicts are believable, and I am enjoying it tremendously. The last issue gets very cartoony, which is a bit odd, but things really take a turn that I am interested to see (since it involves Beast, who has always been a favorite of mine). I will definitely be continuing with this.

What do You think about All-New X-Men Volume 3: Out Of Their Depth (2014)?

The best X-book in current circulation, and one of the best X-Men story lines in history.
