Wedding Of The Century & Other Stories (2011) - Plot & Excerpts
The following refers to "Seduced by Starlight"Loved this little story about Matthew and Jane's daughter Blossom and Lindsay and Anais' son Jace. (From "Sinful" and "Addicted") It was so fun to see Matthew as the doting, over-protective father. Well, well, Wallingford, it seems some of the rakishness of your youth came back to bite you, LOL. I found it quite hilarious that Matthew and Lindsay spoke of their own ravishment of virgins back in the day as somehow not quite as scandalous as now that they are fathers. Somehow, being the FATHER of a beautiful young virgin being ravished changes perspective, heehee. ;-) Overall it was a beautiful story, I just wish it could've been longer and could've contained more sex, but hey, it's a story in a compilation, so that's probably no fault of the author. Didn't read the other two stories, so have no idea if they are good or not. So, yes, I'm guilty of reading this only for the Charlotte Featherstone novella from the Addicted world. Got it on my Kindle asap after finishing Sinful. It takes place twenty-something years in the future from Addicted and Sinful and tells the story of how Blossom, daughter of Wallingford and Jane, falls in love with Jase, son of Anais and Lindsay Markham. Obviously this is not a complex tale like her previous novels, but a sweat and enjoyable read. And great to see Wallingford and Lindsay so mature :)
